It seemed they had agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire but that ended after 24 hours.

Israel will not stop until they once again run all of Lebanon.
Will they undertake another Nazi-like occupation like the one in Palestine?

In addition, Israeli forces are being aided by the Bush administration with high-resolution overhead imagery from U.S. spy satellites and signals intelligence (SIGINT) intercepts from National Security Agency assets, including SIGINT satellites."

Israeli planes continued to attack the ship, even after it raised a large American flag. U.S. Navy and NSA survivors in the water were also strafed by Israeli aircraft."

"Researchers believe they have found a second code in DNA in addition to the genetic code. The genetic code specifies all the proteins that a cell makes. The second code, superimposed on the first, sets the placement of the nucleosomes, miniature protein spools around which the DNA is looped.
The spools both protect and control access to the DNA itself.
The discovery, if confirmed, could open new insights into the higher order control of the genes, like the critical but still mysterious process by which each type of human cell is allowed to activate the genes it needs but cannot access the genes used by other types of cell.
The new code is described in the current issue of Nature by Eran Segal of the Weizmann Institute in Israel and Jonathan Widom of Northwestern University in Illinois and their colleagues.

There are about 30 million nucleosomes in each human cell.
So many are needed because the DNA strand wraps around each one only 1.65 times, in a twist containing 147 of its units, and the DNA molecule in a single chromosome can be up to 225 million units in length.

Biologists have suspected for years that some positions on the DNA, notably those where it bends most easily, might be more favorable for nucleosomes than others, but no overall pattern was apparent. Drs. Segal and Widom analyzed the sequence at some 200 sites in the yeast genome where nucleosomes are known to bind, and discovered that there is indeed a hidden pattern."

But when he says that Israel's response is "measured" and spouts like a robot all of the ad nauseum propaganda cliches as if they were indisputable facts - "Israel's neighbours don't want peace", "Israel has a right to defend itself", "Israel's right to exist", he gives himself completely away.

As an evangelical so-called "Christian", Harper's biblical solution is for the "children of Israel" to fully occupy Palestine. There's only one way to accomplish that if the Palestinians will not be meekly occupied. If Harper can cut off aid to children and hospitals simply because he doesn't like the elected government in that other democracy in the Middle East, then he doesn't flinch at the idea of Israel systematically disappearing both the Palestinian government and its people.

He is also willing to play God with the environment, not matter what the international community says, and in spite of the fact that Canada signed on to it. This man takes his cues from one source, not God, not his own brain, but from the brainless guy down south who claims to get his instructions from God.

No, let us not forget that the Hizbollah broke international law, crossed the Israeli border, killed three Israeli soldiers, captured two others and dragged them back through the border fence. It was an act of calculated ruthlessness that should never allow Hizbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah, to grin so broadly ay his press conference. It has brought unparalleled tragedy to countless innocents in Lebanon. And of course, it has led Hizbollah to fire at least 170 Katyusha rockets into Israel.

But what would happen if the powerless Lebanese government had actually unleashed air attacks across Israel the last time Israel’s troops crossed into Lebanon?
What if the Lebanese air force then killed 73 Israeli civilians in bombing raids in Ashkelon, Tel Aviv and Israeli West Jerusalem? What if a Lebanese fighter aircraft bombed Ben Gurion airport?
What if a Lebanese plane destroyed 26 road bridges across Israel?
Would it not be called “terrorism”? I rather think it would.
But if Israel was the victim, it would also probably be Word War Three."

"Our U.S. intelligence sources in Lebanon have exclusively reported to us the extent of Israel's Blitzkrieg attack on Lebanon, which has destroyed most of the country's critical infrastructures.
Beirut International Airport's newly-restored terminal, where many passengers, including Americans, were stranded after the Israelis carpet bombed the runway during flight operations, was bombed in the latest Israeli attack.
Israel has turned Lebanon into another Iraq -- there is no electricity and airports, roads, and bridges have been knocked out across the country. Israel has even bombed small ports preventing civilians from escaping to Cyprus. CNN and other Israeli lobby-influenced broadcasters are understating the number of civilian casualties in the repeated Israeli attacks. CNN's Washington bureau is editorially controlled by Wolf Blitzer, a one time employee of the Jerusalem Post and American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

According to our U.S. intelligence sources, the numbers of dead are in the hundreds.
In south Lebanon, Israeli planes bombed three vans carrying families after they were turned away from a UN outpost while seeking protection. A total of 23 people were killed, including nine small children. The Israeli attacks have been described by various sources in Lebanon as "sub-human," "monstrous," and "animalistic."
Our intelligence sources phoned us before what they believe will be the targets of the next wave of Israeli attacks against the nation's telecommunications networks, including cell phone towers and exchanges.

The Israel regime is acting with the full approval of the Bush administration, both regimes that are totally beholden to neo-con interests intent on throwing the entire Middle East into a firestorm of destruction and death."

"Our intelligence sources in Lebanon have reported to us exclusively that Israel is now using poison gas and depleted uranium shells on towns in the south of Lebanon. Residents of the small village of Kasarshoba became violently ill, experiencing severe vomiting, after the Israelis hit the village with poison gas. In other cases, underground shelters in southern Lebanon were hit by Israeli depleted uranium shells.

Our sources also report that the entire southern suburbs of southern Beirut, with a population of 800,000, have been totally depopulated. Israel has targeted thousands of civilian homes for destruction.
Meanwhile, Israeli government spokespersons and Bush administration officials took to the Sunday morning talking head programs in Washington to defend Israel's barbarous actions.
The networks failed to present the views of Lebanese government spokespersons. Israel's and the Bush administration's line is that Israeli attacks are "precision targeted." Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice pointedly refused to criticize Israel on ABC's This Week."

American media is failing to report that the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Gaza, like the U.S. attacks in Iraq, are violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention and Additional Protocols governing military attacks on civilians by governments that are parties to the conventions:

-Civilians are not to be subject to attack.
This includes direct attacks on civilians and indiscriminate attacks against areas in which civilians are present.
-There is to be no destruction of property unless justified by military necessity.
-Warring parties must not use or develop biological or chemical weapons.

Publishing seems to be working now more postings later!

I've been working on some updates regarding topics that have been eating away at my skull for the last few months but every time I get down to business Blogger gargles and gags and ceases to allow me to publish.
If this blog were anything important or special that little paranoid voice in my head would say “Somebody does not want you to publish your thoughts online.”
Since it is nothing special and I’m not saying anything that thousands aren’t already saying in a far more eloquent manner, I can only assume that Blogger is just overwhelmed by every cat blogger and “I’m sooooo bored" blogger that is trying to coincidentally publish at the exact same moment that I am.
I will just hit publish on this little note and walk away while the publish feature hangs clicking at 45% published for half hour or so.
If you are reading this it worked. Please come back tomorrow when I will up the images and words from my intended latest post and let the publish feature hang and click as I get up the gumption to finally and permanently move to my Wordpress address.
