"In the plains of southwestern Afghanistan, confident Taliban move around openly with their weaponry, to the frustration of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Afghan National Army (ANA) troops who can see them, but seem helpless in containing them.
Indeed, foreign troops are mostly held hostage in their bases, and their alternatives are stark: conduct aerial bombings in which civilians would surely be heavy casualties, or pull out.
The mood on the ground in Afghanistan is that the latter option will prevail."
NATO Troops murder more innocent civilians
In a scene all too familiar at Western Imperial "checkpoints" around the Middle East, Canadian checkpoint guards gun down another innocent “friendly” while American troops slaughter a family in their home.
If I can find more detailed and less biased articles about these latest civilian killings they will be posted.

"Northern Alliance criminals, backed by the US have their own local and barbaric governments. Just the increasing amount of women who commit suicides by burning themselves can be the best example of a human rights violation in Afghanistan. According to UNICEF, 65% of 50000 widows in Kabul think that committing suicide is the only option they have. Northern Alliance crooks raped an 11 year old girl, Sanuber, and traded her with a dog. In Badakhshan a young woman was gang-raped by 13 Jehadies in front of her children, and one of the rapists urinated in the mouth of her children who were continuously crying(...)
These are all just some examples of thousands crimes that are being carried out by fundamentalists of the Northern Alliance evil men who have high positions in executive, legislative, and judiciary branches of the US-imposed government and some unprincipled intellectuals are dancing to their tune."
These are the people we are over there supporting - the great allies of the initial American Invasion now sitting in the Karzai government.

"The new US Air Force Memorial, located next to the Navy Annex in Arlington, Virginia and largely built with donations from Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, United Technologies, and even the United Arab Emirates Air Force (the UAE was a major financial hub for Al Qaeda and was from where money for the 9-11 hijackers was transferred. The Air Force Memorial sits right on the Pentagon crash flight path of American Airlines Flight 77) looks like a giant coat track jutting into the sky and dominating the Washington, Dc skyline.
Although it is designed to look like an Air Force "bomb burst" formation, many Washington area residents see it as an unwelcome eyesore, more reminiscent of something Nikita Khrushchev would have built honoring the Soviet space program in a Soviet Potemkin city than a military service memorial. Casting its bizarre shadow over Arlington National Cemetery, the $30 million gaudy stainless steel memorial was the brainchild of the Air Force Memorial Foundation, headed by Ross Perot, Jr., but it also had the personal support of then-Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Richard Myers of the US Air Force.
Some more religious people have commented that the three spires of the memorial look somewhat "Satanic" in nature because the spires resemble "horns."
The New American Bible, Book of Daniel, Chapter 7, verse 7, contains this passage:
"After this, in the visions of the night I saw the fourth beast, different from all the others, terrifying, horrible, and of extraordinary strength; it had great iron teeth with which it devoured and crushed, and what was left it trampled with its feet. I was considering the ten horns it had, when suddenly another, a little horn, sprang out of their midst, and three of the previous horns were torn away to make room for it.
This horn had eyes like a man, and a mouth that spoke arrogantly."
Well, for the more evangelical readers of WMR, the three "horns" springing out of the ground in Arlington are directly west of a mouth that speaks "arrogantly" and it is located in the White House."
The three "horns" lie directly west of the Washington Monument and, beyond, the White House.
