Implying that Canada lost its UN security council bid exclusively because of his cultic need to service Zionism, Harper described the cost in votes and his resulting martyrdom.
Of course in his seedy implication that his "Israel first - right or wrong" stance is the sole reason the jaded UN turned up its nose at Canadian security council membership for the first time in our history lies the apparent conclusion that Portugal must be sufficiently "anti-Semitic" to be accepted.
Of course, Count Ignatieff squirmed up the same slime trail to the podium and repeated the same Hasbara crap looking for the approval of the Zionist supremacists for his right to exist in politics. All of this frantic hand jobbing of the Canadian Jewish Zionist community by the P.M. and Leader of the non-existent Opposition has me asking the same old question about Canadian/Western politics. With the actual Jewish vote not being significant enough to tip any electoral scales, why does every potential candidate vying for any serious sort of political power first need to pay homage to the Jewish/Israel Lobby and the State of Israel?
What stranglehold does this obnoxiously single-minded and self-righteous Lobby have over every Western politician that allows them to make or break a candidacy?
This question should concern Canadians as much as Harper's cynical attempt to conflate all criticism of the barbaric Apartheid regime in Israel with hateful anti-Jewish sentiments. With the controlled media and War of Terror ginning up abundant (real world hate not the existential in your own mind kind) anti-Muslim sentiment in the West holding a conference, in Parliament no less, about plight of Jews under the threat of this so-called "new Anti-Semitism" is frankly absurd.
